Rider is SOURCE’s premier low profile hydration pack, designed specifically for ballistic vest integration yet quickly converts for back carriage or ruck insertion. This military hydration pack is not only low-profile, but also low maintenance, durable, self-cleaning and reliable.

Maximum utilization of our low profile technology greatly reduces the depth of the carrier making it a truly low profile system. Rider is a component of the SOURCE Virtus Soldier System and was selected by the UK MOD in 2015 as the army hydration pack for the British Armed Forces.

This low profile hydration pack comes in 3 colors: black, multicam, and coyote, and comes with a removable WLPS low profile hydration bladder. Choose the color that best suits your needs, and enjoy hands-free drinking throughout your adventure or mission.

Backpack Features

• Dual function: can be worn as a backpack,or quickly converted for direct armor attachment or backpack insertion.
• X-QCA System connects Rider securely to armor or backpack with no need for additional straps or hardware; fits a wide variety of vest configurations; the X-QCA attaches diagonally and won’t loosen as water is consumed and reservoir volume changes.
• Tuck-away contoured shoulder straps are patterned for comfort and designed to fold into a back storage pocket when not in use.
• 3 rows of MOLLE webbing.
• Adjustable sternum strap for enhanced carrying stability.
• Elastic secured loops keep loose strap-ends from dangling.
• Easy reservoir access for a quick refill while pack stays on the vest; zippered wide opening is secured with velcro + an optional snap.
• Dual tube routing: top and side ports allow the drinking tube to be routed either over the shoulder or below the arm.
• Closed-cell insulation keeps liquids cool.
• The condensation drain port drains condensation from the insulated reservoir sleeve.

WLPS Low Profile Water Bladder

• Angled Valve: Turns 360 degrees for perfect valve/mouth orientation. It allows the tube to be 25cm shorter. This equals to less excess tube bouncing around on the chest!
• The Quick Connector with an auto-seal allows you to remove the tube and valve without leakage, including when the bladder is full. This makes for easy attaching of filters and other accessories and ensures easy handling of inserting the bladder into and out of the backpack.
• Hi-Flow Storm-Valve: The no-bite, push-pull valve with an integrated shut-off mechanism. Easy disassembly for cleaning. Can be exchanged easily with or Helix bite valve(sold separately).
• Cool Weave Cover Tube: Insulates and blocks UV light. Water stays cool and inhibits bacteria growth from the first to the last sip.
• Widepac wide opening slide closure for easy insertion of ice, cleaning and draining.
• The dirt shield valve cover protects the mouthpiece from dirt.
